This page explains how a parent or legal guardian can delete a Peblo account and the learning data associated with it. You do not need to have the Peblo app installed to make this request.

Option 1: Delete from inside the Peblo app

If you still have the app installed, open Peblo, go to the parent area, and choose Delete Account. This deletes your Parent Account and all associated Child Profiles.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app, or would prefer not to use it, email us at finance@mypeblo.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request and include:

The mobile number registered to your Peblo Parent Account

Your name

The name of the Child Profile or Profiles the request covers, or a note that it covers the whole account

To protect your account, we will confirm the request is genuinely from you before acting on it. We do this either by sending a one-time password to your registered mobile number, or by confirming from your registered email address. We cannot delete an account without this step.

What we delete

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete:

Your Parent Account, including your mobile number, email address and name

All Child Profiles, including each child's name, date of birth, grade, avatar and subject preferences

Quiz sessions and answers, and all learning progress derived from them, including accuracy records, mastery states, review schedules and knowledge graphs

Video watch progress, playlists and playback history

AI companion conversation records and transcripts

Speaking assessment scores and voice-coaching records

We will send you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What we keep, and why

Two categories are kept after deletion, because we are required to keep them:

Consent records and the record of your deletion request. These show that we obtained parental consent lawfully and that we acted on your request. They are kept for seven years and are not used for any other purpose.

Subscription and transaction records. These are kept for the period required under Indian financial-record and taxation law, currently seven years.

Copies of your data held in our routine system backups are removed as those backups rotate, within thirty-five days of deletion.

How long it takes

We acknowledge your request within seven business days.

We complete the deletion within thirty days of verifying your identity.

Backups are purged within thirty-five days.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your Peblo account does not by itself cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play, so you will need to cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. If you want help with this, write to us at the address above.
